About Us

Supporting the Sport Where Everyone Can Go Pro!

The mission of the Baltimore Robotics Center (BRC) is to inspire Baltimore’s youth to pursue careers in science, technology and manufacturing by providing opportunities for youth to explore STEM programs like Competitive Robotics, 3D Printing, Coding and Making.  We also work to connect these youth to stable STEM jobs and careers by demonstrating pathways and facilitating internships.

We serve Baltimore City’s robotics league competitors by offering a dedicated space to practice, learn and compete.

The goal of the BRC Robotics Trailer is to have a “Tournament in a Box.”  This would allow a school, university or corporation to have the Baltimore Robotics Center bring the trailer to their location and greatly simplify the running of a tournament.  We have worked in the past with manufacturers, colleges and nonprofits on running tournaments and getting the equipment onsite, and setting it up has always been a serious issue.  Having a trailer preloaded with everything needed for a tournament would greatly simply the task of putting on a tournament and thus we could have many more occur in the Baltimore area, which would be great for the students.  The more you play, the better you get, and this has a huge impact as is the sport where everyone can “Go Pro”.

We are also looking to run tournaments at premier venues like Oriole Park, M&T Bank stadium and the Naval Academy.  We will look to raise the money to rent these venues through grants and sponsorships.  Having a “Tournament Trailer” will make it easier to execute these premier events and lesson the burden on event coordinators and volunteers.

We thank everyone who has supported us in this ambitious endeavor, and seek to create more great partnerships in the future!
